When I was at university, the all-nighter was worn like a badge of honor. Like it made you a better designer, or a more committed student.⁠
But it didn’t. Because you are human. And there comes a point that no matter how long you sit at your desk, your effectiveness and productivity will go down.⁠
You are better getting 8 hours of good sleep and 2 hours of energized work. Rather than 2 hours of sleep and 8 hours of ineffective work. You’re only going to get 1 or 2 hours of good productivity out of it anyway when you’re that tired.⁠
Ditch the all-nighters. Be steady and consistent instead.⁠

When I finished school I had no idea what I wanted to do. Architecture had a bit of everything – maths, science, art and English.⁠
The diversity of architecture demands we develop a wide range of skills and capabilities. As a result, it has paved the way for a career I never would have imagined.⁠
